Hi, I’m Felicia—founder of Coral of the Story Travel.

Travel has always been a part of my story. As a proud military brat, I grew up watching my father make the most of every moment he had at home—packing up and taking us out to experience the world. Those early experiences sparked a deep curiosity in me. The colors, cultures, and endless possibilities of the world weren’t just exciting—they were inspiring.

I later followed a similar path, serving in the military myself, where I had the opportunity to travel on my own. But many of those experiences were mission-focused—structured, fast-paced, and often left little room to truly soak in the beauty of the destinations around me. I saw the world, but I didn’t always get to experience it the way I wanted to.

As I transitioned into roles within both government and private sectors, I noticed a pattern—people were burned out. The mission always came first, and taking time off often came with guilt or pressure. I saw the fatigue in others, and truthfully, I felt it myself.

That’s when everything shifted.

I realized that travel isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. It’s a form of self-care. A reset. A way to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones, and the life you’re working so hard to build.

Travel became my outlet—my therapy—and ultimately, my purpose.

I created Coral of the Story Travel to help others break free from burnout and start living more intentionally. Whether it’s a solo escape to rediscover yourself, a memory-filled family vacation, or a much-needed getaway to simply breathe again, I believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the world beyond their responsibilities.

Because at the end of the day, travel isn’t just about where you go—it’s about how you feel while you’re there… and the story you get to tell when you return.
